To get a better understanding of the scope of hunger in the United States, America's Second Harvest once again organized a national study in 2005.

The study was conducted throughout the nation by more than 150 food banks.

Mid-Ohio Foodbank collected data from our network of agencies in twenty counties and interviewed 400 clients receiving food.

Battelle sponsored our part of the study in central and eastern Ohio.  Their $25,000.00 sponsorship covered expenses including participation fees, personnel costs, and the publication of the findings.
